About Us

Woodland Adult Education provides educational opportunities for adults who have not completed their high school education or who want classes in the following programs:
 
  • High School Diploma for adults
  • GED / HiSET Preparation
  • Adult Basic Education (ABE)/Skills Review
  • English as a Second Language - ESL
  • Personal Enrichment
 
Woodland Adult Education is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). All teachers in classes supported by state apportionment have a valid California Teaching Credential. Personal enrichment classes are supported solely by the fee charged to students and do not require a credentialed teacher.

Monday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. 
Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 
 
Placement Process
 
Any person 18 years of age or older may enroll in adult classes. Classes are free and open to anyone without regard to race, color, gender, religion, ancestry, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, physical handicap, political affiliation or belief. All High School Diploma, GED/HiSET and Skills Review students must attend High School Orientation and meet with an advisor before starting class.
